John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum John Wick makes his way through Manhattan before he is labeled “excommunicado” for the unauthorized killing of High Table crime lord Santino D’Antonio on the grounds of the New York Continental Hotel[N 1], which is considered neutral ground and where any “business” is forbidden from taking place without severe repercussions–before this, he sends his dog to safety with the concierge, Charon, at the very same hotel. John finds a marker’s medallion, the Rosary and other items at the New York Public Library. He gets injured in the course of a battle with Ernest another hitman and seeks treatment from an underworld physician, however, the $14 million bounty activates before the doctor can complete and force John to complete the suturing himself.
